Emergency Response &

CPR for the Professional Rescuer

When there is a medical emergency, the delivery of fast, accurate care to the patient is critical. In many instances this means the difference between life and death. First Responders, those individuals on the scene before the ambulance or medical professionals arrive, make the difference.

First Responders, the frontline in Patient Care, are viewed by the community as trained and ready to serve, act, and protect. These people are typically first on scene of any emergency situation making the first contact, before the arrival of the ambulance. The First Responder relies heavily on learning and maintaining the hands- on skills to perform basic emergency care without hesitation or mistakes.
