Annual Report

American Red Cross Announces New National President

Welcome to the Pioneer Valley Chapter!

Your local Red Cross Chapter needs you!

A series of local fires has already stretched the Chapter's local disaster relief budget, just days into the new fiscal year which began on July 1.

A 13 family fire on Locust Street, Springfield on July 15 has displaced more than 30 people who we are working with to provide services including food, shelter and clothing.

You can help. . .please make a donation to support the local disaster relief budget of the Pioneer Valley Chapter.

You can mail your tax deductible contribution to

506 Cottage St., Springfield, MA 01104 (specify local disaster relief); call 413-737-4306; or make a gift online.

Thank you!

Home fires are the greatest and most common threat of disaster in our communities.

The good news is that they are preventable and steps should be taken to protect home and family from fires.

Preparedness is the best defense.

Steps in both prevention and preparedness in the case of a fire are key.  Smoke alarms, disaster planning and home fire escape plans are a way to start preparing your family in the case of the unthinkable.
